Nikki McDevitt

Nikki is currently an English Language teacher for the Capistrano Unified School District Adult Education program.  She has a degree in psychology from California State University Long Beach and received her Teaching Credentials from California State University Fullerton with an emphasis in Social Sciences.  She has taught at the High School and Middle School level in the Santa Ana Unified School District.

Nikki's desire to become a teacher came after many years in the corporate world.  On one occasion she was asked to speak with high school students about career choices and preparation.  This event sparked her desire to go full time into education so she could make her occupation working with and inspiring kids.

Teaching Crusade is her passion to extend her sphere of influence beyond one classroom into many.

Ron McDevitt

Ron is currently a middle school teacher in the state of California for the Capistrano Unified School District.  He holds a degree in Finance and Economics from Chapman University and a Masters in Education.  He has taught at both the high school and middle school levels in the areas of computers and mathematics as well as in the public sector for many years as a martial arts instructor.

He left his top level corporate and executive sales position over ten years ago to pursue a career in education.  It was his belief that his life would be better served helping students succeed.

He now realizes that his impact could be even greater by helping teachers succeed because each teacher touches thousands of students.
