Hello and welcome to Teaching Crusade. My Husband and I started this company several years ago with the idea of helping new teachers succeed. If you are feeling frustrated in the classroom you are not alone. We have been in teaching long enough to see many great people come and go due to the same frustrations we felt and that you may be feeling right now. Teaching can be a highly rewarding job full of great moments that you will remember for a lifetime. You have the opportunity to truly impact students in a way that they will recall forever and help in shaping the future of our nation. How many jobs can claim that? However, we know firsthand how hard that is to realize when you are exhausted and frustrated by day's end. If you feel like students don't care, they seem disrespectful, you can't get them to work, you spend more time disciplining than teaching or just feel like you need to know the best way to get things done then you have found the right place.
There is no one way to teach but there are definitely ideas that work and those that don't. Nobody wants to spend their time chasing down solutions that don't seem to work in the real world and that is why we created Teaching Crusade. Our thought was this "How great would it be to ask a truly recognized expert in education to help us out when we get stuck or frustrated".
As a new teacher I would have climbed Mount Everest for this help. Heck, sometimes I want to do this now and I've been teaching for awhile. I was told once by a good friend that the best way to lower the pain threshold of any task is to substantially decrease the learning curve by learning from an expert.
