John Corcoran is the author of The Teacher Who Couldn't Read and Bridge to Literacy. Mr. Corcoran is a nationally known and respected speaker. He is the founder of The Corcoran Foundation a Not-For-Profit Organization that serves to eradicate and prevent illiteracy in America. Mr. Corcoran has served on numerous advisory commissions and corporate boards. He was appointed as a board member of the National Institute for Literacy by President Bush and continued under President Clinton. He has appeared on Oprah, 20/20, Larry King Live, and has done over 150 radio and T.V. interviews nationwide.
